Head of the Applied Neurophysiology Lab
Dr. Goded Shahaf is the Principal Investigator of the Applied Neurophysiology Lab, with a uniquely broad academic background spanning medicine, neurophysiology, mathematics, computer science, psychology, and behavioral biology. Holding an MD and PhD from the Technion, as well as degrees from Ben-Gurion and Bar-Ilan Universities, he has developed innovative EEG analysis algorithms that led to the founding of multiple companies. His work translates these advances into practical clinical solutions for diverse patient populations.
Head of Neuroanesthesia, Rambam Health Care Campus
Dr. Dana Baron Shahaf is Head of the Neuroanesthesia Unit at Rambam Health Care Campus, and an anesthesiologist and researcher specializing in neuro- and geriatric anesthesia. She focuses on EEG-based technologies to protect and restore brain function, working in the RAN Lab and co-leading the development of the EyeCon system for the rehabilitation of patients with disorders of consciousness. Trained at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the University of Toronto, she also chairs the Brain Sub-Committee of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, and is widely published in the field.
Deputy Director, Rambam Campus
Dr. Avi Weissman is the Deputy Director of Rambam Health Care Campus and a senior anesthesiologist dedicated to advancing patient care. Trained in Israel and the United States, he completed an anesthesiology residency and a cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship at UCLA, where he also served as Assistant Professor. Since 2017 he has served as Medical Deputy Director, and in 2022 became CEO of the Rambam Corporation, leading innovations in surgical recovery, pain management, and patient safety.
Director of international and private section, Business Development
Tal Abutbul is Manager of Private and International Medical Services at Rambam Health Care Campus, with over 15 years of experience establishing and leading complex medical systems. He holds a degree in Economics and East Asian Studies from the University of Haifa, and specializes in team management, process optimization, business strategy, and building partnerships in the healthcare sector.
